| [The technique/ insect has no set rank, thus I am just going to go ahead and train for the highest rank they could be -S, and do 2K to get the Insects]
- The sun was going down, a luminous glow set across the horizon, turning the water which Shido looked out at a light purple color. It was very calming, the ripples in the water diverging, then converging into one another; the movements forming ripples, spreading the colors of the sunset like paint in water. His dark brown eyes watched, almost dazed as the light danced upon the water's surface. His pupils slowly dilating, the ever-changing light which scourged across the waves causing them to do so. This was enough to set you to sleep, if your mind was wide awake and focused on the target, and a goal. For Shido, this goal was simple. He had to find the Poisonous-Nano Bugs which made his grandfather, Shikuro Aburame, famous.
So far he had made a total of twenty two failed chases; all of them ending in the same way, no insect. Though even with the thoughts of all his failures, it was hard, if not impossible for him to hold onto that anxiety which had been killing him; his worries were seemingly washed away merely by watching the flowing tides, washing away with them. By the colors which now drowned out the sea, it would seem as if it was only a matter of minutes before the sun would set. And that’s the time when Shido could go for the insects. He had been told from his old mentor, that the Poisonous Nano Bugs lurk deep in the ground, and do not come out unless summoned out of the ground. And only his thread of family could call them out, as well as cure their poison.
Finally, the sun had fully set, all that remained upon the water was the glimmering stars which were held high in the sky; resembling that of salt, slowly sprinkling from the salt shaker. It was time, time for Shido to set out and make his move. This time he refused to leave empty handed. A fire had been set ablaze in his eyes, a passion to capture the same raw power which his grandfather had occupied. He would no longer be held back by a clan which did not appreciate him, he would gain the ultimate power for Aburame, and set back to Konoha, to demonstrate to them what they had taken away.
Shido turned his black hair whipping around, a thin mist arousing upon his lips, waves of hot air from his mouth. The icy chills of the winter night struck against his body; Shido didn't mind though, not even mother nature could hold him back from doing what he had been set out by his own conscious to do. Shido turned, looking back into the sparkling forest, the dew which rested upon the leaves of a once prominent trees not slowly freezing. Ice sickles hung like spears, their tips awaiting an unsuspecting victim, to drop down on, and finish off. These were the conditions that were perfect for finding the Poisonous Nano-Bugs. The mentor stated they could only be gained in the coldest of seasons, and right now, seemed like the perfect time.
Shido stepped forward, burying his now pale hands deep into the pockets of his black slacks. A single Kikachu beetle crawled from the inside of Shido's collar, moving up his neck, and then traveling to his ear lobe. Shido strided forward, walking toward the forest; his mind focused on three things: One - The chance that he could gain this power, Two - The fact that if it wasn't for his clan's ignorance and greed, he could of already had it, and Three - What type of power could he control with them. Those three questions and three pathways were set in his mind, and not bent on leaving it any time soon. For now Shido just had to shoulder the thoughts, and figure out a way to cope with them, and fight them back to keep from losing track of the goal.
Shido stepped underneath the arch way formed by frozen water, and tree branches, a cyan colored light breaking through, and shining on the spot infront of him, as if calling out to him, and telling him to continue on. Though Shido didn't need any incentive, he was already set on it. Shido stepped forward, withdrawing his hands from his pocket, he could hear the owls crying out Ka-kooo! Ka-koo! they mocked him, open infront of all of the creatures of the night. Shido kept his eyes forward, and his anger under control. They would all realize soon enough that he was not a joke. Walking forward, Shido left the moon's light behind him, entering into the darkness, and the truly unknown. -

| - Shadows swept over Shido, consuming his entire body; the only thing revealed through the darkness was his white sclera. Shido's lips felt a strange icy sensation over them, as if all the heat in his body was being stripped directly from them. His hands rubbed against the edges of his shinobi slacks again, creating a small amount of heat for him. Walking forward, Shido began spreading chakra throughout his body; small Kikachu beetles began to emerge from various places, some which shouldn't even be listed. Directing them to cover his body, Shido created a light coat around his body; The Kikachu began to pile up over his skin, creating a dense coat. The coat of beetles covered most of his body; starting from his neck, and going down to his ankles.
The coat of Kikachu beetles was meant to help keep himself warm, and also mask his human presence, so that animals would not scurry, and mess up his chances to find the Poisonous Nano Bugs. In the distance, he could hear the sound of crackling; Shido looked in the direction, stopping in place. The Kikachu knew what to do, three of they began to lift off, darting in the direction of the noise. With the moon rising, its silvery rays of light began to break through the frozen branches of the trees, the ice sicles glimmering as the light struck them, creating an ominous, yet miraculous and beautiful scene.
Shido caught a glimpse of two of the Kikachu beetles flying toward him, the glimmering ice sicles casting a light glow over the grey tiles upon their bodies. Shido brought his hand out, sticking out his middle finger, both of them landed on it, their small wings beating lightly. Oh, just a moose? Wonder where the other one went... The two beetles sunk down, into the coat of Kikachu which were spread all over his body. Ignoring the fact that one of his Kikachu Beetles were missing, Shido continued on, walking straight forward, in the direction he had a hunch that deep inside, would have the answers to the Poisonous Nano Bugs. Tonight seemed different then all other twenty-two chases, which utterly failed. Tonight would be the night he found, and controlled the power which his grandfather was able to control so skillfully.
Chu-ru Shido stopped, his eyes shifting to the side, one of the ice sicles was cracking, and on it were multiple black specs. Shido quickly brought his hand up, commanding his Kikachu insects to attack. A large cloud of swarming Kikachu Beetles emerged from his left arm. They all quickly swarmed in on the sicle, crashing into it. As they came upon impact, Shido felt a strange draw on his chakra, as if his Kikachu were being dipilated in rapid amounts. It can't be something normal... This isn't natural.. I think... It could be... The Nano-sized, Venomous Insects I've been searching for? He felt an even more tighter pull, he winced, only being able to catch a glimpse of his Kikachu falling in rapid amounts onto the ground, with small bubbles on them as they did.
It has to be. Shido stepped forward, reaching toward the ice sicle, though for some reason it felt as if his body was locked in place. He looked down, his black ninja sandals had completely been dissolved, and were stuck like glue to the ground. With that, Shido had no doubt in his mind, he had found what he came looking for, the Poisonous Nano Bugs. Shido yanked as hard as he could with his right leg, slipping it out of the sandal, and thrusting it forward, using the pressure of stomping onto the ground to draw his foot from the other sandal, he stumbled forward, reaching out toward the Ice sicle, and placing a finger to it. His heart sped up, believing that it could be now, that he achieved his dream, and everything had been working up to this.
Seconds past, and nothing. Shido sighed, an icy wave of his breath blending in with the cold temperature, making it visible. As he drew his hand back, he heard a loud noise. Snap! the tree began to crack, small black bubbles forming all over it. Shit! Are those the...?! Leaping backwards, Shido swung his right arm forward, Kikachu scattering from it, and spreading in different directions, like fireworks, and shooting at the location where the tree had rapidly been dissolved. I got you now! -

| - Making sure that this time the Insects he was hunting wouldn't get away, Shido had made the Kikachu swarm around the area; from what he captured about them earlier, they didn't leave a location until all of the life it touched was killed. The Kikachu he sent were a decoy; Shido crouched down on one knee, placing his palm to the earth. He performed Secret Technique: Insect Gathering, a web of invisible chakra lines were sent out all across the area, moving up trees and into every little hole in the ground, contacting all insects that it could reach in the range. His plan was simple; he would bring a large enough supply of insects for the Nano-bugs to destroy, to give him the opportunity to draw them into his body before they could escape him again.
Tap Kikachu began flying backwards from the location, all covered in a black, tar-like ooze. Shido flicked it away, sending it tumbling across the ground. A light teal colored spider crawled up, Shido pointed his finger in the direction of the Kikachu, ordering it to go help them. Not having a way of disobeying the Aburame, the spider followed the direction in which Shido sent it, not knowing it's soon awaiting death. Shido repeated this with every insect that followed after the spider, sending them in the direction of their demise, where the Poisonous Nano Bugs dissolved through any, and all life they came in contact with. Shido was starting to realize what a responsibility he would have with these insects, he could never fully touch someone, or they might be at risk of killing them, if he couldn't draw them out quick enough; though for his grandfathers power, Shido was willing to take that risk.
The time had come, he knew what needed to be done. Shido got up, his arms drooping slightly, and his steps sluggishly. A part of him felt that he would regret this, while the other part was ready to welcome the venomous creatures into his body. He stepped over the large collections of decaying bug shells, and onto the broken tree, sliding his hand down the side of the icy bark. Come... Somehow, the nano insects seemed to react to his thought, he felt a sharp pain in his finger tip, black bubbles moving across his skin. Shido closed his eyes, trying to forget the severe pain as they began to manifest into his body. His eyes opened wide, and his mouth gaping, Shido tumbled to the side, collapsing onto the ground. He gripped his wrist, which was bubbling up, the blackness moving up his arm, and through his veins.
I wonder... If this is how it felt when they put the Kikachu in me when I was born... He understood what they were doing, they were circulating through his body, infusing with it, and becoming a part of it. It would take a while to get use to the pain, but Shido could do it, and with that, he had gained what he dreamt of his entire life, the same power his grandather held, the poisonous Nano Bugs. -
